2017 International Women’s Day March & Rally in Los Angeles

Join AF3IRM for the International Women’s Day March and Rally on Sunday, March 5 in Downtown Los Angeles!

This march is convened and led by transnational/women of color, but all people are welcome to join. Our IWD event will feature speakers, poets, and musicians throughout the event.

The march will begin AND end at the same location (1st Street btween LAPD Headquarters and City Hall).

WHEN: Sunday, March 5, 2017
START TIME: 12:00 noon
WHERE: Los Angeles Police Department Headquarters*
100 W. First Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 (Between Spring St and Main St)
*Please note location change from Los Angeles City Hall.

**For people physically unable to march, since the march will start and end on 1st Street, you can stay on 1st Street between LAPD and LA City Hall during the march. Some chairs (priority for those unable to stand) will be available, and our medic tent will stay there with some medical volunteers.

**Parking & Transportation: Since it is Sunday, there will be nearby meters on the street (please take note of posted signs) and there are also several private parking lots nearby. The nearest Metro train stop is Civic Center/Grand Park.

**There is a possibility of rain, so we encourage everyone to come prepared.
