“Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.” – Arundhati Roy
If you have been noticing that it seems like things are getting worse and worse for women of color, you’re not wrong.
From restrictions on reproductive rights, to shrinking social support for working class women and families, to state-sanctioned attacks on LGBTQ+ folks, to continued abuse and mistreatment of im/migrants (and more), white supremacist, capitalist patriarchy is unrelenting in 2023.
But what can you do about it? How can you make changes in your community? How can you get friends, family, and people in power to take action and care as much as you do?
The answer is to organize!
Join our first-ever virtual and FREE National School of Women’s Activism (SOWA) and learn how to organize for material change for women of color and our communities. You don’t have to carry the weight of the whole world on your shoulders or burn yourself out to make a difference.
Registration is open to fierce, feminist women of color ready to fight for women’s liberation. Applications close November 8, 2023 for our cohort starting in 2023.
