AF3IRM National is pleased to announce the fulfillment of our National Finance and Fundraising Director position for the remainder of the 2020-2023 term. We are welcoming back Daniella Navarrete from the San Francisco/Bay Area chapter to the National Executive Council!
Daniella joined AF3IRM in 2014 and has previously served as the AF3IRM SF Bay Area Chapter Coordinator and as an officer on the collective National Executive Council (NEC). She is a working-class woman of Mexican descent, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area’s “Little Michoacán.” She is a survivor of intimate and state violence, who now works as a trauma counselor and psychotherapist to support fellow survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and the sex trade. Beyond survival, she fights for a world liberated from totalizing oppression and exploitation. In addition to the transnational feminist and survivor-based organizing she does with AF3IRM, she has experience organizing with workers, tenants, families impacted by state violence, and for racial and reproductive justice. Daniella is a life-long athlete and in the time she is not working or organizing, she enjoys playing soccer and lifting weights. She is proud to join the AF3IRM National Executive Council in her new role as National Finance and Fundraising Director.
The duties carried out in this director role are critical to the growth and stability of AF3IRM and we are confident that Daniella will lead with strength in her new role.
Please join us as we welcome Daniella back into national leadership!
